The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago” is right around the corner, but it’s already time to set your sights on another appealing version of the iconic silhouette. We’re talking about the “Rare Air” Air Jordan 1, which we get our best look yet at today. Sticking with a traditional color palette of black, red, and white, the most notable feature of this new Air Jordan 1 is the fact that it drops the usual “wings” logo on each ankle in favor of “Air Jordan” text in bold font. The move is apparently a nod to very early sample editions of the Air Jordan 1 with the same text. Adding another unique aspect to the shoes are removable tongue tags with “Rare Air” text underneath the clear velcro panels. Enjoy this preview, and we’ll update you with release info on the Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air” when it’s available.
