Now a certified skateboarding legend, Geoff Rowley led the way for a return to slim and simple style for skate shoes when his first Vans signature shoe dropped in 1999. The Rowley Pro’s minimalist design with Vans’ traditional vulcanized Waffle sole was a huge departure from the bulky and over-padded shoes of the time, and it pioneered a return for classic-styled skate shoes with an emphasis on board feel and clean style. After numerous follow-ups to 1999’s Rowley Pro and even some re-issues of that model, Vans and Geoff are back with another edition to his signature line, the Rowley Solos. Built from the foundation of the iconic Vans Era, the Solos features the classic silhouette in a retooled workwear-inspired construction. Built “Rowley Strong” in durable canvas and suede with DURACAP reinforcement and ULTRACUSH HD high-impact-cushioning, the Rowley Solos debuts in three colorways including black, navy, red, and tan. Geoff Rowley’s latest signature model launches this Saturday, June 13th at Vans retailers globally. An apparel collection will follow on July 1st.
