Back to the Future Pt. 2 was wrong. We don’t have hover cars, let alone hover boards, yet, or dehydrated Pizza Hut pizzas, and light-up, auto-lace sneakers are still not the norm. The Nike Mag does exist, but actually only because they were designed for the movie, not within the natural progression of Nike sneakers. However, the latest edition of Nike Basketball’s Hyperdunks seems to get close to the futuristic aesthetic of the Mag, with an unsual high cut and large sculpted heel. Take your best look yet (note the Zoom Air in both the heel and forefoot)at the Nike Hyperdunk 2015, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for release information on the latest high-performance hoops shoe when Nike makes it available.
