Snakeskin has had an extended moment in the sneaker world for the past couple of years, but no sneaker did the look as much justice as the original Nike Air Python. The shoe was ahead of the game when released in 1987, combining portions of both the Air Jordan 2 and Nike Air Force II for a lifestyle inclined upper that turned as many heads when it returned in 2013 as it did back in the late-80s. And if you think that the metallic tendencies were a recent addition, then think again. This iridescent pair takes things a step further though, as the entirety of the upper gets hit in a rainbow array of serpent skin for the loudest take yet. Gone are the 3M accents, something that shouldn’t come as a surprise given the metallic sheen throughout the upper. Vachetta tan hits the piping and lining while a milky white outsole adds a crisp finish. Add this pair to the coming soon category. More photos below.
