Jordan Brand‘s approach to giving Russell Westbrook a signature shoe is one of the more original thought processes in quite some time. Instead of giving the electric point guard – who really defies position really – his own model to wear on court, the brand instead focused on his unique fashion sensibility off of the court to bolster their lifestyle imprint. What resulted was the Jordan Westbrook 0, a shoe that takes inspiration from the Air Jordan 11, Air Jordan 10, and Air Jordan 1 and utilizes a premium leather upper complete with synthetic crocodile skin on the mudguard. A smooth outsole captures the lifestyle sensibilities. The latest Midnight Navy colorway stands out in part because of the rich obsidian shade, but also because of the metallic gold accents seen on the lace dubraes and inner lining.
