The Nike LeBron 13 Launch Event didn’t wield any new colorways of Nike Basketball and LeBron James’ thirteenth collaborative effort but did make promises for a Friday the 13th inspiration, a Space Race pair, and one inspired by LeBron’s Akron roots. While we’ve seen a number of new looks pop up just in the past week, we have another look that should be more familiar in theme. The classic “Bred” styling is back on the LeBron 13, as the posite support system is camouflaged thanks to a matching black Megafuse base and midsole while a murky translucent sole contrasts the vibrant portions of red on the metallic Swoosh, shank, and laces. What results is a pair that’s undoubtedly more Miami in the aesthetics department than LeBron’s current squad, but the iteration of the classic Black and Red combo works well. What do you think? It’s unknown whether this is an early PE or if this pair will actually hit retailers but we’ll keep you updated.
