The Nike Air Classic BW is often forgotten about in the classic lineage of visible air-wielding Swoosh models, but come on, Classic is right in the name there. NSW brought the 1991 silhouette back not too long ago in the OG “Persian Violet” aesthetic, then interrupting the new-school Breathe tooling that was popular at the time. Now with all of the lifestyle obsession going on in the sneaker industry – people are readily shelling out $400 at retail for premium leather renditions of their favorite silhouettes – the Air Classic BW is back mirroring that trend. Here a monochromatic black leather base is accented by micro perforations on the heel, a white midsole, and Bright Crimson air max unit for a slight adjustment of vibrancy.
