Concepts New Balance City Rivalry

One of the most infamous rivalries in all of sports seems to be inspiration for Concepts’ latest sneaker collaboration. Although only the insoles of the shoe have been teased so far, the brand chooses a fitting name with the “City Rivalry” pack, which includes one pair drawing inspiration from the New York Yankees and the other from the Boston Red Sox. It’s too early to tell what exact shoe it is, but if you have been keeping up with the Cambridge, Massachusetts sneaker store, they have already released four sneaker collabs in 2016, with Nike, Reebok, New Balance and Diadora. Only time will tell whether or not this collaboration will be with one of those four brands, or another such as adidas or Asics. Expect a full-reveal of the sneaker to be coming this week.

Update: The “City Rivalry” silhouette is the New Balance 998.
