The Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” gave us plenty of other counterfeit Miami Vice-themed sneakers in the years that followed that historic release chronicling LeBron’s “Decision” to head south in free agency to join Dwyane Wade and company. With almost his second full-season wrapped up in his second tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron and his Miami-legacy are still being referenced with this Nike LeBron Ambassador 8. The Asian-exclusive model features an interesting enough construction, from the bolstered mesh and Dynamic Flywire support system, heel cage, and slip-on upper. Anytime teal and pink get together, a South Beach comparisson is imminent, but here the takedown is subtle, as a black upper is speckled with the two vibrant shades throughout.
