Anta Claims Klay Thompson’s Signature Sneaker Is A Big Hit In China

NBA Finals collapse aside, the Golden State Warriors and Klay Thompson can hold their heads up high with one of the most memorable seasons in recent memory. Klay had an awesome post-season, willing the Warriors back from their own 3-1 deficit in the Western Conference Finals with his elite play. Now Klay has more to be happy about as his Anta signature sneaker, the Anta KT1, has reportedly been selling quite well in China. Anta claims that they’ve sold 650,000 pairs so far – 500,000 of which have been sold in 2016 alone. While Anta has yet to make its mark in the USA and recently made the mistake of a ‘back-to-back champions’ colorway of the KT1 even though the Warriors didn’t win a championship this year, the growth of Klay’s line is good news for the brand if the facts check out.
