You know the Nike Air Trainer 1, the legendary shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield that birthed the entire cross-training concept. Now there’s a new Trainer 1 on the market, but it’s definitely not what you’d expect, because it’s not even a Nike shoe. But if anybody is allowed to use the same name as one of the most influential models of all time, it’s Jordan Brand, who now present their own Jordan Trainer 1. Today we get our first look at the all-new Jordan cross-trainer, which features an elephant print jacquard textile upper that fuses seamlessly into a neoprene inner collar. With what looks like ample tread on the outsole, the Jordan Trainer 1 should prove to be a versatile training model whether you’re in the gym or on the turf. Get a preview of two black and red colorways here, and expect the Jordan Trainer 1 in stores soon.
