Nike surprised everyone when they transformed the Nike Kobe 6 into the Nike Zoom Kobe Icon, a lifestyle pair that added a shroud to the upper in a look reminiscent of Gary Payton’s iconic 90s signature, the Nike Zoom The Glove. Now the Swoosh is giving the actual Glove that same treatment, this time ditching the zip-up construction for one that promises to be even more of a head-turner. Known as the Nike Zoom Cabos, The Glove’s original midsole and outsole unit, as well as the overall mesh structure of the silhouette remains unchanged. It’s the laceless design and bold Dynamic Flywire cables wrapping up the entirety of the model that’s sure to polarize the sneaker community. Two colorways have been unveiled ranging from a White/Volt with splashes of reflective 3M and a more understated Black/White. What do you think of the model?
