To many of the NBA’s elite players today, Kobe Bryant was their Michael Jordan. The Black Mamba will go down as one of the game’s greatest players of all time, and while he’s hung up his signature sneakers for good, he’s still determined to make a global impact on the game of basketball. Nike Basketball and Kobe have partnered for a tour of Europe to help reach out to and inspire the next generation of basketball players. He landed in the Netherlands recently and spoke to at Nike’s European Headquarters in Hilversum. He spoke to an eager crowd and even instructed at a brief basketball clinic. His next stop is in Italy, the country he grew up in while watching his dad play professionally at the international level. The tour will honor Kobe’s earliest and most influential basketball memories while giving back to the next generation through a multi-city tour.
