The Nike Air Max LD-Zero debuted during last year’s Air Max Day celebration and is back for this year’s festivities with a clean “Pure Platinum” slated to release on March 26th, 2017. Originally thought to release earlier this week, you’ll have to wait just a little bit longer for the clean near Triple White aesthetic on the retro-inspired silhouette. A women’s version will also be available on the same day, featuring a colorless outsole unit and an upper that’s just a little bit brighter as well.
The model combined the LD-1000, a classic running shoe lauded for its clean, minimalist and overall Swoosh with what was then the most modern Air Max unit fragment design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara could get his hands on. (Hiroshi also has used the LD-1000 in a past Roshe combination). The Pure Platinum finally seems to do the premium model justice, though, thanks to an icy outsole that contrasts a bolstered suede heel and mesh upper.
