For this week’s episode of Sneaker Shopping with Complex, actor and activist Jesse Williams heads to Kith Manhattan for some serious sneaker talk with Joe La Puma. More educated and opinionated about sneakers than the average celebrity guest on the show, Williams speaks about the days growing up in Chicago when he couldn’t afford Air Jordans, how the Reebok Blacktops were his first name brand sneakers, and how he would spend his days drawing the sneakers he wished he could own. He also shares a strong take on Jordan Brand chopping down their classic models into low-tops. Watch the full video below.
