Thanks to the latest adidas Consortium Sneaker Exchange project, two popular sneakers get a glowing makeover this summer compliments of Wish ATL and Sneakerboy. The cross-continental collab sees the Atlanta and Australia shops team up for their own special editions of the PureBoost and ClimaCool 1, each featuring a look that appears to just be all-white at first, but turn off the lights and you’ll see each glows in the dark. The colorways are inspired by the deadly jellyfish off Australia’s coast, known for their poisonous and bio-luminescent qualities.
Releasing last Saturday, May 13th exclusively via Wish and Sneakerboy, the Sneaker Exchange collection will also hit select adidas Consortium retailers worldwide one week later on May 20th. NAKED, one of the shops that will be stocking both the PureBoost and ClimaCool, offers a detailed preview of each model here. Photographed in bright light, none of the glow in the dark characteristics of either shoe is illustrated (see that here), but you can get a good look at the unique clear material interwoven into the Primeknit uppers.
