Nike Is Back With Yet Another Altered Air Max 1

Tinker Hatfield’s Nike Air Max 1 is as relevant a retro running model as any out there thanks to being the first model to champion the iconic visible air window on the outsole. Since 1987, Nike Sportswear has updated the classic construction countless times by bringing new technologies like Fuse, Flyknit, Lunarlon, and more to the silhouette for minor to major tweaks to keep your interest. Today we get a look at a brand new installment known as the Nike Air Max 1 Royal SE SP featuring an updated midsole with a slimmed-down heel counter, a synthetic overlay, and what looks like a fuse and mesh upper. Of course, Nike had to bring back the original “OG Red” colorway to kick things off, but there’s also a simple Black/White option headed to retailers in the near future too.
