In May of 2007, Nike signed a rookie named Kevin Durant. Ten years later, he has solidified his name with the greats of the sport by earning his first NBA Championship and Finals MVP honors. Debuting the Nike KD 10 in this year’s Western Conference Finals, the shoe was coincidentally on court for ten of the games leading up to the Finals-clinching victory, where KD was quickly named the most valuable player of the series. In the shoe he averaged a very impressive 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Celebrating KD’s history with the brand and long road to a Championship, today Nike released a short video documenting Kevin Durant’s rise to greatness.
