The Nike Air Max2 Uptempo Has Even More Colorways Coming This Summer

Updated on July 26th, 2017: The Nike Air Max2 Uptempo in White/Black releases in the US on August 3rd, 2017 for $140.

The Air Max2 Uptempo may not have the overall cachet and cult-like following that the original Uptempo does – it doesn’t have that bold ‘AIR’ printed on its side panels – but it is one awesome basketball retro beloved by basically any superstar playing college hoops in the 90s. Ray Allen wore these during his tenure at UConn and Barry Sanders even took this to the turf. And while the Nike Air Max2 Uptempo “Duke” is releasing tomorrow, there’s even more heat on the way from this March Madness icon in the near future. This White/Black colorway isn’t a true and through OG look but it definitely is simple enough to look straight from an Eastbay catalog. The pair features premium white leather throughout while a high contrast black highlights the unique midsole shape.
