ASICS first model in its long line of running retros is back again with a simplistic black and white color combination. The GEL-Lyte, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, features a tonal black leather upper that mixes things up from the usual nylon mesh material, while sporting white branding and a matching midsole. Similar to a few KITH-exclusive colorways of ASICS retros that celebrated its Bleecker St. store’s grand opening back in 2014, this latest GEL-Lyte release offers up something a bit more dressed up compared to the mesh/suede stylings that have previously hit stores.
