The third installment of his Nike signature shoe series originally debuted in late 2005 and ushered in a “soldier boot” aesthetic with leather uppers and heavy-duty construction; this bulky build is confirmed to return in October as Nike continues the Retro era of LeBron’s shoes. It’s unclear if this “cool grey” colorway of the shoes will make it to retail as the Swoosh seems married to the idea of exclusively re-issuing original colorways; the Air Zoom Generation, which returned last January, only dropped in one new colorway – an updated “Vachetta Tan” take on the Wheat version.
