After a shoplifting fiasco in China and self-dismissal from the storied UCLA basketball team, LiAngelo Ball’s talents have taken him to Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas of the Lithuanian Basketball League. As promised by father Lavar, the middle son and the least promising of the three Ball boys has a signature shoe from their in-house Big Baller Brand label, and this first look reveals a a clean design that opts for a more retro-themed style based on the white leather materials and mid-cut silhouette. While LiAngelo’s NBA prospects don’t appear very bright, he’s doing some considerable damage overseas by average 13.8 points a game off the bench. Perhaps the plan is to launch his shoe exclusively in Europe, which suits the made-to-order business model employed by the BBB brand.
