Ben Felderstein Last year on April 15th, Isaiah Thomas received the terrible news that his sister, Chyna, had passed away from a traffic collision. A day later, Thomas and the Celtics took the floor in front of their home crowd in game one of the NBA Playoffs against the Bulls. While Thomas was still heartbroken from the terrible news, he knew that the best way to honor his sister’s memory was to play in the game. Just over a year later, Nike has gifted IT with a PE version of the Kobe AD in honor of Chyna’s life. Her name comes embroidered underneath the tongue while a black and yellow pattern resembling butterfly wings adorns the upper. Thomas posted the pair on his IG stories today and showed his appreciation to the Swoosh Brand for the truly heartfelt gift.
