Although Russell Westbrook’s Oklahoma City Thunder have been eliminated from the NBA Playoffs after a hard-fought battle with the Utah Jazz, new colorways of Russ’s signature Why Not Zer0.1 are continuing to roll out, and the latest iteration of the sneaker pays homage to the point guard’s son Noah’s birthstone with its emerald accents.
Featuring a white forefoot with black Jumpman branding, a black heel and collar, and a emerald mesh underlay on the upper, the shoe offers a further nod to Westbrook’s young son with his birthstone and birthday on the inside of the strap. Westbrook branding, an emerald lace toggle and an emerald outsole complete the shoe’s commemorative look. Expect this new Why Not Zer0.1 to arrive on Nike.com soon, and for more OKC player kicks, check out Carmelo Anthony’s new orange “Hoodie Melo” sneaker.
