One of television’s most iconic families is set to enter the sneaker world again by way of a five-piece collection from UBIQ’s Japanese footwear brand. Famous imagery from one of the world’s longest running TV shows can be seen throughout the entirety of the capsule the likes of Duff beer and Homer’s favorite strawberry frosted donut with rainbow sprinkles. In fact, Homer and Bart will get their own sneakers as well that have all-over prints that feature two of the show’s most prominent characters in a number of fitting poses that represent their personalities. The sidewalls of each of the five pairs come with text on them pertaining to the graphic above the soles the likes of “MMM…BEER”, and “EAT MY SHORTS!”. Finally, a colorful heel caap is added to each selection for an extra touch of contrast. If you think the silhouettes look familiar, then you are right, as UBIQ clearly took inspiration for these sneakers from industry icons like the Converse Chuck Taylor and the Vans Slip-On. Peep a detailed set of images for all five sneakers below that are currently available at atmos and other overseas shops.
