Nike Air Max 90/1 Is Releasing In Yellow For Women

Upon its initial release in 1992, the Nike Air Max 90/1—one of the very first “hybrid” sneaker silhouettes ever—received a lukewarm reception. However, the sneaker environment is quite different in 2018, with bold fusion-style kicks enjoying a moment in the spotlight, so the Swoosh has opted to bring the ahead-of-its-time sneaker back to market. After first releasing in an OG “University Red” colorway back in June, a new pastel yellow 90/1 for women has appeared.

The shoe’s Air Max 1 upper utilizes a “Summit White” as a base for the underlays while accents arrive via a yellow mudguard, yellow swoosh, and tan quarter panel/throat. A classic white Air Max 90 midsole and two-tone outsole complete the fusion aesthetic. These pastel Air Max 90/1s have an official release date of August 2nd, but are available now—under retail—on eBay in sizes up to a women’s 12, which translates to a men’s 10.5.
