Nike’s Rise React Flyknit Gets A “Thunder Grey” Makeover

Nike’s Rise React Flyknit Gets A “Thunder Grey” Makeover

Nike’s new React foam cushioning technology has caused quite an impact on the world of sneakers in 2018. After debuting on the Epic React Flyknit early this spring and lending its futuristic stylings and epic comfort to other shoes like the extremely popular React Element 87 and upcoming models like the Jordan Apex Utility and Jordan Proto React. Yet another unique shoe that boasts React cushioning is the Rise React Flyknit, a laceless sock-like, high-top silhouette that was first unveiled in a bright banana yellow. Initially released at the beginning of September, it’s now set to return in a new “Thunder Grey” colorway that offers a much more toned-down look than the initial iteration. The form-fitting Flyknit upper boasts a tonal grey palette, complete with an embroidered midfoot Swoosh, a strip of rich grey leather, and a high-gloss grey plastic heel cage. A full white React midsole offers both cushioning and contrast, and a white outsole completes the look. Check out the shoes in detail below, and expect these new Rise Reacts to drop October 4th at the retailers listed below for $175 USD.
