With many Japanese labels like Undercover taking the limelight in the current fashion and sneaker world, Korean designers tend to fall by the wayside, leaning on the tremendous reputation of their country’s overwhelming entertainment industry. This, however, is changing with many newfound labels pushing through into streetwear, luxury, and much more. Ader Error, which originally started not too long ago in 2014, is arguably one of the definitive Seoul-based brands to make waves within the current overarching culture. Only starting wholesale recently this past Spring 2018 season, the ever-eccentric team of 20 extend their design ethos into what is effectively a part 2 to their Puma collaboration. Ushering back in many of the same silhouettes, the collection will include the RS-100, RS-0, and the Suede, opting for a much more muted overall palette while including subtle hits of Ader Error’s signature blue tone. In the guise of something much more contemporary hides many eclectic accents — like enlarged heel caps, 3M Formstripes, and double tongues — which holds true to the collective’s unmistakable aesthetic. The collaborative capsule sees many of Puma’s sportswear-centric offerings through a high fashion lens, blurring the lines between two very distinct worlds. Retailing from $120 USD to $180 USD, the entire range — which will most certainly include accompanying apparel — is sure to hit Puma and select retailers like Overkill on November 23rd.
