Michael Le Nike’s inbound colorways for the evocatively named Huarache City are pastel-filled despite the kit’s tech-inspired design. Ushering themselves in as a women’s exclusives, the two pairs — a neutral blue as well as a bright pink — are spring-ready in their tonal appearance, with the interweaving straps adding a bit of aggression to the sock construction. A small toe cap adds a needed layer to the one noted upper while the lacing system is tugged at by the criss-crossing webbing, leading the eye towards the bolder hued heel counter complete with Swoosh branding. The ghillie esque lacing system contrasts in a deep black while both the midsole and various accents compliment the base tone. Though wildly different from its original counterpart, the reworked model is undoubtedly inventive.
