Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Freak 1 Signature Shoe To Debut During NBA Playoffs

Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting together an MVP caliber season, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the best overall record in the NBA (as of March 22nd). The one known as the Greek Freak has his sights set on the NBA Finals once the Playoffs arrive, and he’ll be riding along that journey with his new signature shoe – the Nike Freak 1. During Nike’s Q3 2019 Earnings Call, CEO Mark Parker discussed some short-term initiatives by the brand while noting “Giannis will cap off his incredible season with the reveal of his first signature shoe.”

We have additional details regarding the release of the shoe, but all we can reveal at the moment is that the shoes will have some performance components similar to the Zoom Kobe and Kyrie signature shoe lines. Several details inspired by his family will also be present in the shoes.
