United Arrows Dims Down The New Balance 990v5 To A 5% Tint

As we go deeper into 2019, the many quiet works done in partnership with New Balance have slowly started coming out of the woodworks, presenting many a notable imprint the opportunity to recraft the Boston label’s iconic silhouettes. Though United Arrows had a few other collaborative releases a few months ago, this newest NB 990 v5 takes the newcomer classic into a realm quite diverse from the colorful season’s usual offerings, painting it in a shade much darker than the usually bright grey suedes. Minimally crafted as per the Japanese brand’s finely tuned aesthetics, uppers arrive in their usual likeness with mesh unders and laces opting for a deeper black while the sultry overlays arrive off-kilter in an almost simulated distressing. Grab a detailed look at the pair below and find them releasing at United Arrows webstore in early May.
