Michael Le Newcomer to the hallowed Nike line-up, the Air Max 200 has been seeing quite a bit of time in the spotlight with vibrant schemes showing off the potential of its ornate layering. Dubbed “Mystic Green,” the latest is a mixture of earth tones with bright pastels — a true middling point between both the Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter season — with each somehow playing off well with the next. Mesh base, with its various ornaments of deep, grassy greens, are otherwise bereft of any color while overlaid pieces of a smooth nubuck sit in tanned face across the toe cap, heel, and eye stays. Pink laces contrast greatly in a hint more neon while lavender linings and webbing delve deep into almost floral palettes. Swooshes are miniature by comparison to most, with small notes on the tongue and emanating air bubble lining up to connect to their checkmark flags.
