Nike’s Air Max 98 Gets A New Grayscale Colorway

Nike’s Air Max 98 Gets A New Grayscale Colorway

The Sergio Lozano-designed Nike Air Max 98 is a paradigm of longevity, still wildly popular 21 years after it released, and now it’s surfaced in an elegant new grayscale-style colorway. Mixing hues both light and dark, this AM98 seems to start in the sky and then come down to land with its grey hues: the mesh upper is dressed in a soft “Vast Grey” tone and accented by sail embroidery for an ever-so-slight touch of contrast, while reflective piping snakes around the middle overlay and appears on the eyelets/heel tab. The farther down you go, the darker the tones get, however, as the nubuck mudguard takes on a dark grey shade and the midsole/outsole/Air Max cushioning unit all present stark black shades to provide a vivid contrast with the aforementioned upper. A jeweled badge on the outsole complete with a white Swoosh then completes the look. Breezy enough for the summer but substantial enough for the fall and beyond into the winter, these new Nike shoes are available now at the retailers listed below for $160 USD.
