While 2018’s shoe of the year boasted translucent uppers and its younger sibling often followed closely behind in opaque synthetics, the silhouette is now dressed up in a textural weave throughout, adding a tried-and-true lifestyle element to one of the brand’s newest. Uppers almost mimic textures of chainmail or a chainlink fence with overlaid taping taking place of traditional overlays. Swooshes bear a slight iridescent finish across, leading to contrast stitching in bright Dynamic yellow that matches that of the various outsole molds, heel supports, and eye stay components.
