The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu TR “Infinite Species” Releases On September 13th

The relationship between Pharrell and adidas Originals has grown to become one of the most diverse and extensive celebrity/brand partnerships in the world of footwear, and now the two powerful parties have prepared yet another potent take on their recognizable NMD Hu TR: a black/gum makeup dubbed “Infinite Species.” Although the last two colorways of these modified adidas NMDs we saw boasted vibrant neon tones, Skateboard P is keeping it simple this time around, dressing buth the knit upper and the thick Boost midsole in a stark black. The shoe’s signature detail is provided by tonal embroidered text that stretches across the top of each foot, with the left shoe boasting “INFINITE” while the right offers “SPECIES.” Spacy and ambiguous in classic Pharrell style, this phrase could be interpreted any number of ways, but it certainly continues his overarching ethos of unity and togetherness. Flecked laces and a rugged gum outsole then complete the stylings. They’ll release on September 13th for $220 USD, so enjoy a store list and full set of official images directly below while you wait.
