Japan’s White Mountaineering Reinvigorates The Nite Jogger With Two Distinct Colorways

Oozing in technical allure — backed by Pertex, GORE-TEX, and every enduring material in between — Japan’s White Mountaineering continues to foster its relationship with the Three Stripes, teasing a newfound release with each runway show. While prior, the imprint has given bulky, hiking-ready sneakers their own time to shine, they’re now starting to tone things down in terms of form with the recently revived Nite Jogger silhouette. Two vastly different takes see the light of day: one, a more tonal mix of deep, dark neutrals, pieces together accenting notes of burgundy and lighter grays to a backdrop of dark blacks; the next, which is heaps more playful and reminiscent of vintage sportswear, is fearless in presentation as it continues to add on vibrant hues of orange, green, yellow, and red in an execution unlike much of the monochrome collaborations prior.
