With the Jordan Brand family continuing to stay strong in number, their representation during the 2019 NFL season’s opening day is geared to be quite the eventful one as a total of twenty-one athletes don the Jumpman-adorned flags. Though many more have yet to be seen, these five Air Jordan 1 cleats on display bear the iconic colors of their team of choice with their wearers being (from left to right) Tyrann Mathieu of the Kansas City Chiefs, Earl Thomas of the Baltimore Ravens, Alshon Jeffery of the Philadelphia Eagles, Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints, and Le’Veon Bell of the New York Jets. Each, swapping between low-top and mid height, are imaginative in their constructions and presentation: some don tonal make-ups with accents filled to the brim in either a bright yellow or deep green while standard color blocking takes form in sultry purples and luxe gold finishes. Treads, geared for performances, swap out the standard lifestyle unit detailed in matching finish. Grab a closer look at each of the mentioned right below, and as these are unfortunately player’s exclusives, it’s unlikely they’ll make their way to retail.
