With the general public’s appetite for Air Jordan 1s more voracious than ever before, Jordan Brand has reworked the Peter Moore-designed classic in a number of women’s-exclusive ways over the last year-plus. One of the most unquestionably bold of those reimagined styles is the Air Jordan 1 Nova XX, a silhouette that’s now surfaced in a “Bred”-esque colorway. Featuring an asymmetrical lacing system borrowed from last year’s Air Jordan 1 Rebel XX, a slightly beefed-up midsole, and an undeniably towering cut, these Air Jordans for the ladies certainly offer a new spin on a traditional aesthetic, and they’re plenty unique in material/color as well. The all-black upper features a base layer made of a synthetic fabric that almost has a satin-style sheen to it, while the overlays are constructed of an elegant patent leather. A bold punch of “Bred” colorblocking is provided by a removable collar strap with a rubber ball-and-wings logo badge, while the tongue tag offers a little more flare as well. Down below, the aforementioned midsole uses more black while matching red arrives on the outsole to finalize the look. These bold new Nova XXs are slated to hit Nike.com and select JB stockists soon, so enjoy a full set of images directly below, and keep it locked here for a specific date of arrival as it’s made available.
