Olivia Kim’s “No Cover” Collection Brings Back The Nike ACG Mowabb

Olivia Kim’s “No Cover” Collection Brings Back The Nike ACG Mowabb

Originally designed for muddy, rocky trails miles from concrete-paved sidewalks, the Nike ACG Mowabb has garnered some unexpected favor from the inner fashion circles – largely due to Comme des Garçons’ interpretation of the silhouette in 2018. The Mowabb’s been darling among Swoosh-heads long before that partnership, but it’s getting some attention from the newer crowd via this “No Cover” iteration envisioned by Olivia Kim, Nordstrom’s resident VP of Creative Projects. The entire collection is thematic of her nightlife lurkings in the 1990s as she knights the silhouette as “the perfect hiking shoe for club kids”, but these just so happen to be an original colorway of the model with the added twist of a miniature swoosh at the forefoot. Expected to release at Nordstrom retailers on October 31st and on Nike SNKRS and select retailers on November 8th, the Olivia Kim Nike ACG Mowabb is sure to spark the brand to embark on its own independent re-issue of the classic. See the full official images ahead and stay tuned for the release soon.
