With the entirety of Kyrie Irving‘s Pre-Heat collection arriving on Single’s Day, it’s only fitting to pay homage to the country that created the holiday itself, giving all who have yet to find that special someone the opportunity to fill the void with the Kyrie 6 “Beijing.” Releasing exclusively to the capital and celebrating loud through a mix of bright tones, the pair pushes yellow at much of its upper composition, deviating drastically at the rear side panel, heel counter, and sole unit in what is a mix of lighter grey and orange-red. Bottoms are the most aggressive in their design in what is a seemingly distressed streak of various paints; its grey backdrop matches that of the sock liner and molded heels, wrapping around a vinyl print of what looks to be a photo of historic temples. Among raised imprints of Chinese characters at the strap and the athlete’s classic eye motifs, the pair is effectively akin to the warm-toned gleam of gold-adorned structures with a drop already set to make their way over on November 11th.
