The Air Force 1 continues to serve as one of Nike’s most experimental canvases as it has appeared with Air Uptempo lettering and deconstructed elements from collaborations with the likes of Cactus Plant Flea Market and Off-White, to more in-line styles with flight jacket and liquid metal themes. Continuing their penchant for reinvigorating the ’82 classic with new life, Beaverton is now reworking the classic silhouette by toying with its Swoosh placements and lace accents. Logos that usually start in the mid-region of the lateral panel, now find themselves tilted downwards significantly eventually arriving at a point in which they get tucked just beneath its forefoot overlays, while medial branding is ridded of completely. In addition, the laces now take on a sort of pavement marking aesthetic, as broken up lines adorn its strings in reflective fashion. Three colorways including a white/orange, grey/green, and black/white are set to release on Nike.com in the coming weeks, so check out a closer look here below while you wait on their arrival.
