Well settled into year 17 of his illustrious career, LeBron James is still one of, if not the most dominant force that the league has ever witnessed. Having lead his LA Lakers squad to the top of the Western Conference at this point in the season, the King has secured himself a spot on the 2020 All-Star roster, as well as earned the rights to return as a captain to select his own squad.
With the LeBron 7 having received its fair share of throwback colorways throughout the course of the year, it will be continuing its retro movement for the 2020 All-Star game in Chicago. The same sneakers James laced up for the 2010 showdown in Dallas, Texas will be returning in all of its original glory. Its upper constructions revive its vibrant “Chlorine” blue upper, which although was intentionally designed to match the Eastern Conference threads, ironically works just as well for this year considering this year’s footwear themes reference the primary colors found on the Chicago flag. Other accented features include its Flywire panels, Swoosh, logos, and various taping accents which all receive a stark black look, followed by the woodgrain patterns printed atop the toe box in reflective coatings. Have a look at these LeBron 7 Retros here below, and expect these to be dropping on Nike.com and select retailers on February 8th for $200 USD.
