The Jordan Why Not Zer0.3 “KB3” Is Releasing May 11th

Storytelling has always played a large role in Russell Westbrook‘s series of signatures, the athlete often delving into personal side stories or intimate vignettes via inline and PE pairs alike. And much like he’s done since the beginning of his career, Westbrook is once again paying homage to his late best friend Khelcey Barrs III, who suffered from a heart attack far too young. First written in sharpie atop his in-game kicks and then proudly given a commemorative colorway, Barrs is now being celebrated on the much newer Why Not Zer0.3 later this May. Light tans run replete across the mosaic of fabrics — mesh, leather panels, and complementing textiles doing well to add diversity to the single earth tone shade. Straps across the vamp, which construct of see-through synthetics, mark with a vibrant volt finish, matching that of the contrast stitch that hits the heel wrap. The tooling aggressively ripples with an ecru-like neutral, branded markings stamp pronounced by way of dark black backings, and the honoree sits front row at the profile thanks to the “KB3” patch. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to hit Nike.com on May 11th.

In other news, take a look at the Satin Snake Jordan 1.
