The Air Jordan 5 OG “Fire Red” Releases Tomorrow

The Air Jordan 5 OG “Fire Red” Releases Tomorrow

While absent from Michael Jordan’s sneaker roster during “The Last Dance,” the Air Jordan 5 Fire Red is arguably among the top of “His Airness'” in-game footwear legacy. And it releases tomorrow, May 2nd, in as close to-1990-form as possible.

Although overshadowed by their scarlet-colored accents, white uppers on the Jordan 5 are equally as iconic. Their predominantly-black midsoles are, too. But as the pair’s unofficial nickname suggests, the detail old and new enthusiasts alike have been waiting months for is the “Fire Red” arranged across the shark teeth-like midsole tooling, the tongue, collar and heel. Unlike previous retros, this pair features silver reflective finishes on the tongue, as well as the sneakerhead-stamp-of-approval at the rear: “NIKE AIR” branding. Outsoles forgo OFF-WHITE‘s vintage-yellow treatment in favor of an icy blue composition.

Take another look at the Jordan 5 “Fire Red” here below and find our extensive store list ahead to secure your pair.
