A Multi-Colored Midsole Appears Below A Simple Grey New Balance 992

2020 marks fourteen years since the debut of the New Balance 992, and the ever-classic silhouette has been widely celebrated this year with a myriad of collaborative projects and limited runs of clean GR colorways. Following the official reveal of its anticipated “Steel Blue” collaboration with KITH slated to launch this weekend, the lifestyle silhouette is now giving us a peek into the next Spring entry up its sleeve.

Design-wise, this forthcoming update features both retro and modern elements alike. Upper layers see through to various shadings of grey casted upon its various mesh and suede constructions, channelling a similar build to the colorway that Steve Jobs popularized, while the midsoles usher in a burst of multi-colored vibrance for a sunset-esque blend of orange, yellow, and purple tones. Treading takes its color blasts a step further as it arrives dressed with two hues closely resemblant of Miami Dolphins team colors. More images are available here, and note that they will be releasing via NewBalance.com in the coming weeks.
