Fashion trends are often cyclical — styles floating in and out of relevance every few years or so — and just as wide trousers have made their way back so too has tie dye prints. Jordan Brand, who’s never averse to following the crowd, has used it for this Summer’s Air Jordan 1 Tie Dye which likely helped spawn Nike’s upcoming Blazer Mid ’77. Replete with the same DIY energy, the pair adds a spin just marginally distinct. Instead of the dual blue tones, the canvas is treated to a seemingly bleached method. Bright whites dress in between a spiral wash of saturated indigo while the tooling and laces are left bereft of any color. Swooshes, in direct contrast, then dye in bold red both at the side as well as the tongue’s branded patch. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive at Nike.com within the coming months.
In other news, the Air Dior collection was revealed in better detail.
