The Nike Air Max 90 Receives A Mountaineering Inspired Upgrade

The Nike Air Max 90 Receives A Mountaineering Inspired Upgrade

Historically, the Nike Air Max 90 has been roped into the influences of ACG more times than one can count. And after a series of unofficial collaborations earlier in the year, the silhouette is set to go a bit further off the trail with what looks to be a heavily mountaineering-inspired colorway. But aside from its choice of shading, the pair also upgrades with a slew of loops and a utilitarian lace toggle. While the latter serves an obvious function, the former is near entirely cosmetic as it extends out from the seams of overlays at random. In terms of construction, the pair is also distinct from the ordinary as the mudguard attests by its ballistic mesh and contrast cross stitch. Adjacent, leather fixtures are supported underneath by a chain link patterned synthetic whose toe box and ankle variations depart from one another by way of gauge. Hued in orange, green, and a larger selection of earth tones, the pair should hopefully be readied to release here in the states soon at Nike.com. Sit tight for further word on exact release dates.
