Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers’ first game in the NBA 2019-20 Western Conference Finals, NIKE, Inc. has officially unveiled the Nike LeBron 18.
Led by Jason Petrie, LeBron James‘ latest sneaker’s design combines Max Air and Zoom Air technologies in a new way for Nike Basketball. Unlike previous silhouettes, namely the LeBron 7 and LeBron 15, which focused on either speed or power, the LeBron 18 blends both responsiveness and unparalleled cushioning for the kid from Akron in his 16th season.
Four different colorways will launch as part of the model’s inaugural roster, beginning on September 21st with the Greater China-exclusive “Empire Jade” version and the previously-unseen “Reflections” edition, which celebrates James’ rise to the top of the League via collages throughout the sneaker. Follow-up releases will arrive throughout October and November.
Enjoy a look at all four pairs of the latest from Nike Basketball ahead. For a full visual breakdown of the LeBron 18 from Petrie himself, visit the Nike News presentation here.
