After building out a substantial collection with the the characters of the Star Wars saga, the adidas team is transporting themselves elsewhere within the realm of fictional Disney characters and linking up with Toy Story to deliver a full fledged capsule for kids.

The assortment is a healthy blend of models that fall both under the lifestyle and performance silos; the latter category involving the latest signature basketball silhouettes from NBA superstars Damian Lillard and Donovan Mitchell. The adidas Dame 7 is crafted to translate the look of everyone’s favorite intergalactic space ranger in Buzz Lightyear by seeing through to clean white mesh uppers coupled with surrounding purple, orange, and green accents to match his suit. For Spida, his D.O.N. Issue #2 is a love letter to Andy’s beloved Woody character, and precisely executes the look and feel of his outfit through denim-inspired uppers, and accents that portray his bandana, sheriff badge, and plaid shirt. Last for the hoops silhouettes is the adidas Deep Threat, who’s amalgamation of green and blue uppers play off the extremely comical aliens that live within the walls of Pizza Planet’s arcade claw game.

Moving over to the offerings made for casual street style, the NMD R1 further expands upon the Woody-inspired themes by highlighting its Boost-cushioned midsoles with cow print to represent his vest, and sprinkling notes of red, yellow, and blue towards the liners, molds, and midsole blocks that can be interpreted as his costume’s signature colors. Finally, the last two options include classical models in the adidas Superstar and adidas Top Ten Hi, both of carry influences from two characters of supporting cast. The first-mentioned is presented with soft pink uppers and stripes to represent Hamm, Andy’s go-to piggy bank, while the latter is upgraded with vibrant green and scaly exteriors to express the aesthetic of Rex.
