The Air Jordan 1 Mid has always been prone to changing its color blocking, construction, and near everything about its visual appearance, resulting in a vast array of looks that further outdoes the motifs directly prior. And now, post-FEARLESS, the silhouette is preparing an interestingly stitched together pair under the themes of “Sisterhood.”
Though difficult, the brand has turned the aforementioned concept tangible in only a few strokes, connecting many of the upper’s panels through thick woven ropes in what is effectively a nod to the “intertwined concepts of strength and beauty.” While Frankenstein-esque these very details are relatively subtle as they blend into their background though tri-color: the forefoot is threaded down in black, the collar in blue, and the heel a bright, neutral white. Elsewhere, the foundation underneath is typical as the smooth leather coats in the same shades and finishes with simple blacked out Wings insignia and a new split-toned logo hit at the tongue.
Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive this week, October 15th, at select retailers and likely Nike.com.
